On Team plan
Client approval flow for agencies
One shareable URL per post. Client sees video preview, caption preview, approve or reject buttons. Comments thread inline. One-click regenerate on rejection. Auto-schedule on approve.
Every agency knows the client-approval loop: you generate content in your tool, screenshot it, paste into Slack or email, client comments in some other tool, you paste back, regenerate, repeat 6x. Each round wastes 30-60 minutes and introduces version-control chaos.
We compress that loop into one URL per post. Send the link (Slack, email, WhatsApp — client picks). They open a page that shows the actual video preview + caption in context. Approve, reject, or comment. On approve, the post auto-schedules to the platforms you already configured. On reject, one click regenerates.
Included on Team plan ($119/mo, unlimited brands, up to 3 users). Built specifically for agencies under 20 clients.
What it does
Shareable URL per post
One link. Send via any channel. Client doesn't need an account.
In-context preview
Full video preview + caption + target platforms shown on the approval page.
Inline comments
Client can leave comments per-post. Threaded, timestamped, visible to your team.
Approve / reject buttons
One-click actions. On approve, auto-schedules. On reject, prompts for reason.
One-click regenerate
On reject, hit Regenerate to rerun with same or modified prompt.
Approval history
Every post has audit trail: who approved/rejected, when, what they said.
How it works
01
Generate the post
Create the video + caption in your dashboard. Set target platforms + scheduled time.
02
Click "Send for Approval"
Generates a shareable URL scoped to that specific post. Copy it or use built-in Slack/email share.
03
Client opens link
They see a branded approval page (your logo/colors). Video plays. Caption shown. Target platforms and scheduled time visible.
04
Client approves or rejects
Approve → auto-schedules to the platforms at the configured time. Reject → prompts for reason, comes back to your queue with the comment.
05
Regenerate if needed
On rejection, click Regenerate to rerun with the same or modified prompt. New version generates a new approval URL.
The technical bit
Why a shareable URL vs an in-app comment
Every agency tool builds their client approval as an in-app feature — client has to log in, learn the tool, remember another password. That's exactly the wrong UX for a client who just wants to say yes to this week's posts in 60 seconds.
We use one-off shareable URLs (with per-post token scoping). Client clicks the link, sees the post, hits approve. Zero login, zero learning curve. Works from any device, any channel (Slack, email, WhatsApp, iMessage).
Trade-off: no audit trail of "which client user approved" — the URL is single-scope. If you need per-user approval trails, you can require your client to have an account on Team plan and use in-app approval instead.
One-click regenerate on rejection
Reject flow: client hits Reject → prompt appears asking "what should change?" → their comment saves to the post → you get notified → click Regenerate → we rerun the generation (video + caption) with the modification applied → new version gets a new approval URL → send back to client.
Typical iteration cycle: 3-5 minutes vs 30-60 in a Slack-based back-and-forth.
Branding on the approval page
The approval page displays your agency logo, colors, and a short custom message you configure per-brand. Not full white-label (custom domain is Q4 2026 roadmap) but sufficient for the client to know they're on your workflow, not a random third-party page.
For agencies with a strong brand: on Team plan you can hide the ABMediaX footer from the approval page. Custom domain (approve.youragency.com) coming Q4 2026.
Auto-schedule on approve
When the client hits Approve, the post auto-schedules to your configured time and platforms. No manual re-scheduling step. Your agency's queue reflects the approval immediately.
If the scheduled time has already passed when approval comes in, we auto-publish immediately (with an in-app confirmation to your team so nothing surprises anyone).
API access
Full REST API + MCP for the approval workflow: create approval-required posts programmatically, poll approval status, react to approval events via webhook. Great for agencies wiring the approval loop into custom internal tooling (Retool, n8n, custom admin dashboards).
Who it's for

Does the client need to create an account?+
No. Shareable URLs work without any login. Client clicks, previews, approves. Zero friction.
What if I want per-user audit trail?+
Enable in-app approval mode on Team plan. Client needs to be added as a viewer-role user on your workspace. Full audit trail of who approved what, when.
Can I white-label the approval page?+
Partial today: your logo, colors, custom message per-brand. Full white-label (custom domain like approve.youragency.com) is on our Q4 2026 roadmap.
What happens on approve?+
The post auto-schedules to the platforms and time you configured. No manual scheduling step. If the scheduled time has passed, it auto-publishes immediately.
What happens on reject?+
Client is prompted to leave a comment on why. Comment saves to the post. You get notified. You can click Regenerate to rerun with the modification, or manually revise and re-send.
Can the client edit the caption directly?+
Not today. They can comment their suggested edit and you regenerate. Direct-edit permissions for clients are on our 2027 evaluation list — most agencies actually don't want clients direct-editing.
Is this on the free plan?+
No — Team plan ($119/mo) required for the full approval workflow. Solo and Automation don't include external approval URLs.
Does it work for multi-post batches (approve 10 at once)?+
Yes. Batch approval URLs let the client review 5-10 posts in a single view and approve/reject each. Great for weekly content sprints.
